Returns & Refund Policy

This policy explains returns, cancellations and refunds for purchases from Original Renegade. Nothing here affects any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

UK consumer cancellation rights

If you are a UK consumer, for most goods bought online you have a statutory right to cancel without giving a reason. You must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day you receive the goods. After telling us that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return them.

USA and other non-UK change-of-mind returns

For customers outside the UK, any mandatory rights that apply where you live are not affected. In addition, we accept change-of-mind return requests made within 14 days of delivery, subject to the return condition, exclusions and return-postage terms below. If local law gives you stronger or longer rights, those rights continue to apply.

How to start a return

Return condition

You may inspect an item as you reasonably would in a shop. If an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, and its value has been reduced as a result, we may make an appropriate deduction where the law permits.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise. Keep proof of postage. If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact us first so we can arrange an appropriate solution.

Refunds

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we will refund eligible payments to your original payment method within the period required by law. For UK statutory cancellations, this is normally within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or within 14 days of receiving evidence that you sent them back if that is earlier.

Where required by law, we will also refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, the additional amount above the standard delivery cost is not normally refundable for a change-of-mind cancellation.

Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed items

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact hello@originalrenegade.com as soon as reasonably possible. Your legal rights for faulty or misdescribed goods are separate from change-of-mind rights. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement.

Exceptions

Some goods can be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights where the law permits. Examples can include goods made to your specification or clearly personalised and certain sealed goods where a legal hygiene or health-protection exception applies after the seal has been broken.

Gift cards are not returnable for change of mind except where required by law. Sale and discounted products retain the same statutory consumer rights as full-price products.

Exchanges

If you need a different size or product, contact us and we will advise on the available options. Where a direct exchange is not practical, the simplest method may be to return the original item and place a new order.
