Gothcore is where gothic imagery meets heavy music culture — cathedral artwork, occult motifs, distressed lettering and the energy of a deathcore band tee, worn as everyday streetwear rather than stage costume.

What gothcore actually is

Think of it as the band-tee aesthetic unhooked from any specific band: black garments, dense dark artwork, acid or bone-tone accent colours, and typography that looks carved rather than typeset. It borrows from goth fashion, metal merch and streetwear in roughly equal parts.

How to wear it

The uniform is simple: a big-print black tee does the talking, everything else stays muted. Black or washed-black bottoms, boots or beaten trainers, silver over gold. Layering a gothcore tee open over a long sleeve is the easiest cold-weather version.
