Tattoo Artist Collaborations
Original Renegade is open to working with tattoo artists and independent tattoo studios across the UK. The brand is built around original graphic artwork, tattoo culture and alternative streetwear, so collaborations should feel like a genuine meeting of styles rather than a logo swap.
We are particularly interested in traditional tattooing, blackwork, neo-traditional work, gothic illustration and artists whose work translates naturally into bold clothing or print graphics.
Tattoo artist interviews and studio features
Not every collaboration needs to become a product. We want to build a stronger editorial side to Original Renegade by speaking to tattooers about their work, influences, studios, favourite subjects and the culture around tattooing in the UK.
That can take the form of an artist interview, a studio feature or a focused conversation around a particular style or motif. The aim is to make useful, properly credited content rather than generic SEO copy about tattooing.
Features can sit alongside the existing Original Renegade journal, including guides to tattoo flash, traditional motifs and the wider tattoo flash print collection.
Artwork and clothing collaborations
Where there is a strong fit, we are also interested in limited clothing and print projects created with tattoo artists. A collaboration might begin with an existing drawing, a new piece of artwork, a shared concept or a motif that suits both the artist and Original Renegade.
The finished work could become a graphic tee, long sleeve, hoodie, art print or another appropriate format. The important part is that the artwork still feels like the artist's work and that the garment or print is considered as part of the design rather than treated as an afterthought.
Original Renegade develops and prepares artwork in-house and prints and finishes clothing in Worcestershire. You can read more about that process on Designed & Printed in Worcestershire and see the current tattoo graphic tee collection.
Who we want to hear from
You do not need a huge following. The quality and character of the work matters more than audience size. We are interested in established tattooers, newer artists building a recognisable style, independent studios and artists working in related illustration disciplines.
Traditional tattoo flash is an obvious fit for the brand, but it is not the only one. Blackwork, dark illustrative work, neo-traditional tattooing, Japanese-influenced artwork, gothic imagery and other bold graphic styles can all make sense where there is a genuine visual connection.
What a collaboration should look like
Credit, usage and expectations need to be clear from the start. We do not want to take artwork from an artist's page and turn it into merchandise without a proper agreement, and we do not want artists doing speculative work with no understanding of what happens next.
A feature or conversation does not require you to design merchandise. Likewise, product work would only happen where both sides agree the idea, credit, usage and commercial terms in advance.
If a project goes ahead, we would agree what artwork is being used, where it can appear, how the artist is credited, how the collaboration is promoted and the commercial arrangement before anything is produced.
Why tattoo culture matters to Original Renegade
Traditional tattoo artwork has shaped the visual language of Original Renegade from the beginning: heavy outlines, readable silhouettes, strong negative space and subjects that retain their impact when they move from paper to fabric.
The clothing range includes reapers, eagles, skulls, roses and darker gothic subjects, but the intention is not to imitate tattooers. The strongest future work should involve more direct participation from people actually working inside tattoo culture.

Based in Worcestershire, working across the UK
Original Renegade is based in Worcestershire, England. Local collaborations are especially useful where photographing the artist, studio or production process forms part of the project, but we are happy to work with artists and studios elsewhere in the UK where the fit is right.
Where possible, we would also like collaborations to show some of the real process: sketches, flash sheets, studio photographs, print tests, garment samples and the finished work being worn. That gives customers something more meaningful than another anonymous graphic drop.
Interested in working together?
If you are a tattoo artist or studio and think your work fits Original Renegade, email hello@originalrenegade.com. Include your name, studio or location, a link to your work and a short note on whether you are interested in an interview, editorial feature, product collaboration or simply starting a conversation.
There is no requirement to pitch a finished idea. If the visual fit is there, we can work out the most appropriate format from there.
